Commission E - Disdik Discusses PPDB 2024/2025

Jakarta DPRD Commission E, held a working meeting with the Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) to discuss technical instructions for the Implementation of New Student Admissions (PPDB) for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The meeting itself was led by Jakarta DPRD Commission E Chairman, Iman Satria and was attended by Jakarta Disdik Vice Head, Purwosusilo and his staff.

According to him, the working meeting was held to hear an explanation from the Disdik regarding PPDB preparations for the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

"This is in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and Technology. Nothing has been changed. The council wants to know the percentage of achievement pathways, zoning, affirmation, all of which are the same and what weaknesses have been corrected, thus there will be no more problems in the future," he expressed, at Jakarta DPRD Building, Monday (5/27).

He also continued the must be a call center service at PPDB for the 2024 - 2025 academic year. Thus, when residents encounter problems, they can communicate directly.

"I'm sure that Disdik has learned from the PPBD experience of the last two years," he expressed.

According to him, the PPDB DKO percentage through the zoning and affirmation route which had reached 75 percent was ideal to give students from poor families the opportunity to be accepted into state schools.

Jakarta Disdik Vice Head, Purwosusilo added his party would make every effort possible in implementing the PPBD for the 2024 - 2025 academic year, including holding socialization to the wider community structurally and massively.

"We ask for the support of all parties, thus the PPDB registration for the 2024 - 2025 academic year runs well," he stated.
